Psychological or neuropsychological assessment
Psychological assessment
The psychological assessment offered here focuses primarily on emotional functioning and behavior. Where indicated, personality traits and ways of coping with stress are also assessed. It includes an interview, observation, selected tests, and professional interpretation of the results. A separate assessment of children’s intellectual abilities is available through WISC-IV testing.
Neuropsychological assessment
Neuropsychological assessment examines cognitive functions in greater detail: attention, memory, learning, information processing speed, planning, organization, and impulse control. It helps identify patterns of abilities and difficulties and their impact on everyday life.
These assessments complement each other. The scope and choice of tests depend on the person’s age, the reason for seeking assessment, and the questions we want to clarify. Neuropsychological assessment can be carried out for a range of cognitive difficulties, not only when ADHD is suspected.
Psychological assessment for children and adolescents
Emotional assessment — €250
Have you noticed that your child is worried, withdrawn, sad, or irritable? Do they find it difficult to cope with frustration, have pronounced fears, or experience difficulties in relationships with peers?
Psychological assessment focuses primarily on the child’s emotional functioning and behavior. It helps us understand how the child perceives themselves and their surroundings and where they need support.
- fears, anxiety, worry, and changes in mood
- self-esteem, self-image, and emotional regulation
- relationships with peers and family members
- adjustment to school demands and life changes.
The assessment includes an interview with parents or guardians, conversation and activities with the child, observation, and selected psychological instruments. You receive a written report and a psychologist’s professional opinion with recommendations for further support.
WISC-IV testing for children and adolescents
Standalone WISC-IV testing with a psychologist’s report and professional opinion — €250.
WISC-IV is a standardized test of intellectual abilities for children and adolescents aged 6 years to 16 years and 11 months. It assesses general intellectual abilities and specific areas of cognitive functioning.
The results help identify the child’s strengths and areas where additional support may be needed. They can inform recommendations for learning and further assessment. WISC-IV alone does not diagnose ADHD or learning difficulties.
When WISC-IV is administered alongside other tests as part of a neuropsychological assessment, it is included in the assessment price and is not charged separately. It is not automatically administered in every emotional assessment.
Neuropsychological assessment for children and adolescents
If a child struggles to remember instructions, loses track while learning, completes tasks slowly, or finds it difficult to organize themselves, a neuropsychological assessment provides a more detailed evaluation of attention, learning, memory, and executive functions. WISC-IV is included where indicated.
The aim is to understand the child’s needs and provide recommendations for support at home, at school, and in further professional care.
Psychological assessment for adults
Emotional assessment — €300
Are you experiencing persistent tension, worry, low mood, or difficulties in relationships? Psychological assessment helps you better understand your emotional reactions and ways of coping with stress.
The focus is on emotional functioning, with assessment of personality traits and psychological symptoms included where indicated.
- anxiety, tension, worry, and depressive symptoms
- self-esteem, self-perception, and emotional regulation
- coping with stress and patterns of functioning in relationships
- personality traits relevant to understanding the difficulties.
The assessment includes an interview and individually selected tests and questionnaires. You receive a written report and professional opinion with recommendations for psychotherapy, further assessment, or treatment.
Neuropsychological assessment for adults
Are you finding it harder to remember information, maintain concentration, or organize your responsibilities? Neuropsychological assessment helps provide a more objective picture of cognitive functioning and describe areas of difficulty and preserved abilities.
Where indicated, we assess attention, memory, learning, information processing speed, planning, and organization. The results are interpreted alongside information about health, emotional well-being, and everyday functioning.
The assessment may be carried out for a range of cognitive difficulties or following a doctor’s recommendation. Its scope is agreed individually, depending on the reason for seeking assessment.
What the process involves
Interview and preparation
The psychologist gathers information about the reason for seeking assessment and how the difficulties have developed. It is helpful to bring previous medical and psychological reports and, for children, any available relevant information from school.
Individually selected testing
Depending on the person’s age and the purpose of the assessment, WISC-IV, WAIS-IV, MMPI-2, BYI-II, PAI, WMS, and other instruments may be used. Not all of these tests are administered to every person.
Written report and recommendations
Following analysis, you receive a psychologist’s report and professional opinion describing the results, professional conclusions, and recommendations. If needed, a consultation with a psychiatrist or a child and adolescent psychiatrist can be arranged separately.

Frequently asked questions
How long does the assessment take and when will I receive the report
For neuropsychological testing, you should generally allow around two hours. The exact duration and number of visits depend on the scope of the assessment, age, and ability to maintain attention. The report is issued within 10 days after the assessment is completed.
How to choose the appropriate testing
When booking, describe the reason for seeking assessment and let us know whether you have a doctor’s recommendation. Our team will help you choose the type of assessment and confirm what the service includes and its price.
Do you need a comprehensive ADHD assessment
For children, adolescents, and adults, we offer a separate package that includes a psychiatric consultation, neuropsychological assessment, the T.O.V.A. attention test, and the associated reports and recommendations. The assessment takes place over 2–3 visits.
The package in Croatian costs €590, while the package in English, with reports in English, costs €690. Prices are the same for children and adults. T.O.V.A. alone neither confirms nor rules out ADHD.
